The Weekend That Was...

I had a really roller-coaster ride the past few weeks...what I thought was a hobby has become chaos (I loved it though), when friends started putting orders for my vanilla cupcakes and cream puffs/profiteroles, with work piling in the office, I had been missing from my blog sphere world......enough said, I am going to update my blog this week, not today though coz I have photos from last weekend, recipes and all that I haven't manage to download...

I also have to tell you people that not only that I live opposite the zoo, my abode is also fast becoming a natural habitat for stray foxes, that my children thought were tikus.....I think I have one whole family of them lepaking at Superwomanwannabe's abandoned house and feeding on our leftovers, ha! ha...We have yearly snakes' odyssey slithering from my kitchen through my hall and to exit through the front garden, toads as big as casserole bowls, orange, green flying frogs, also a slowloris ended up in my master bedroom a few years back...what a nature that we live in.....

    Hi Yani,

    in my area (which is not too far from urs) foxes and monitor lizards are the norm.

    Squirrels jgn sebut, we have a huge rambutan tree in our garden so we've got nature on our doorstep too. hehehehe

    I need a fool-proof muffin / cupcake recipe for my daugther. She loves cooking (she says) and wants to bake. I do not want to squash a 4 year old's spirit. ehhehehe

    Try the Nigella recipe Vanilla cupcakes that I posted earlier in my blog, fool-proof, inshaallah. The butter icing pun easy to make and just sprinkle some M&Ms on top...sedappp

    Not been to the night zoo at Zoo Negara (shame on me for not going!!), but hv been to S'pore Nite Zoo, brilliant!Heard tt our very own nite zoo is equally as good!

    Thank you (and Nigella) for the recipes.

    I am gonna try to bake this weekend (before the Bibik goes on month long leave and before my bro takes back the oven as he's learning to make pizzas). Wish me luck... will be making mini cupcakes.

    FYI, if ur I/C has the address of the surrounding zzoo area, u'll get a discount for being neighbours of the zoo. My kids and I get discounts, not my hubby though.
