Due to the recent events and heartbreaking news, I have stopped to look at myself and ponder. The news had shaken us physically and gave a jolt like an electric shock. A lot of people asked how the disease could get my SIL, what has she been doing to herself, etc. It is as if a curse had befallen her and us!But, yesterday I spoke to one of my closest friend whose SIL experienced the same disease, liver cancer. Her SIL reminded her that all that came from Allah is good and only He knows why. And that had awoken me from my "dream" sort of....yes there is a blessing in all this happening and all that came from Allah is good!
I have decided to resume baking and taking orders and try my best to return to normalcy, inshaallah...
Even with such realisation, you'll find yourself returning to the same reminder time and time again every now and then. It's like charging the battery. As long as you don't forget to do so, the *machine* will keep on going.
ReplyDeleteStay strong.
Yani,
ReplyDeleteIndeed all come from Him. Never question why. Just have to deal with it.
Be strong (for all around u, esp ur SIL).
Hugs.
Thanks Yanie, I am living on those words too.
ReplyDeleteThere's always silver lining behind every cloud. Ada hikmah disebaliknya, orang kata. Eventhough it's tough to see where it is, sometimes..or most of the times. But life must have ups and downs, like you said lah, "self-reminder". Those "downs" serve as reminders to us. Sorry la macam bagus je I ni cakap..sebab ni self-reminder untuk I jugak :)
